Wonder

As I sit and wonder why we die,
And what dreams really are.
The hope behind the need to fly,
I sit on that faraway star.

The anger in the tiger's eyes,
And the fire in our soul,
Could be the only opening,
Or itself be the hole.

Sight and sound our daily dose,
My eyes are both open and close,
Feel the wind as in your face it blows,
And watch time pass as fast as it goes.

High up above and down below,
The more you go, the less you know,
I wonder why we humans lie,
As I sit and wonder why we die.

Now

Now I don't know which way,
The wind is gonna blow.
Will it always stay this way,
Or will it ever slow?

Now I have this power,
And I thought I wanted it to show.
Last time on the tower,
I thought I wanted them to know.

Now I want that ray of light,
At this hour of need.
For me to light the way,
And for me to take the lead.

Now's the time I have to act,
And do what I need to do.
Gone is the time when I got to act,
But it's tomorrow's coffee I have to brew.

Life is too short to let days go bye,
And it gets to long if you start to live a lie.
Be new. Be true. And always Be You.
Live under the sky at night, live until the sky's blue.

Look up at the Sun,
Step out and take a run,
Run, and skip, and fly, until you're done...

Live to be Free.

Now He flies,
Because He wants to.
And, down He lies,
When He has to.

He's the right,
To the wrong.
He's the tune,
Of this song.

We live but to be free,
The life we wish to lead,
He's the line between what we want,
And what we need.

He's a dream,
Within us all.
May pride never goeth,
Before a fall.

We live but to be free,
The plant we try to seed,
He's the line between a choice,
And a deed.

To seize the moment,
And learn to fly.
And never,
Say goodbye.

Be an outcast,
To those who don't care.
Be a soldier,
And every problem bare.

We live but to be free,
And every opportunity heed,
He's the line between who to follow,
And whom to lead.

The One Who Knew...

There was once someone who knew,
What life and the future brings to you.
He always knew the possibilities,
But focused on his responsibilities.
The faith he had was immense,
Thus he ended wise, not dense.
Unshaken by his own skills,
He had an uncontrollable urge to climb hills.
For all he knew was to be strong,
Therefore, his journey was millions of miles long...

The Unconsciousness

Imagine a world with a yellow sky,
And purple seas of grass.
With plants of teal and trees of steel,
I spy a mountain made of brass.

Water in rivers is, in fact, blue,
The wind in the air is, Oh! so cool.
The sand on the beach smells like the pool,
And the night and day have no moral, no rule.

The cloud of dust rising mightily high,
It's so very pink, it feels like a lie.
Inhaling it would completely fill you with glee,
And the place of true happiness, it will make you see.

Confused about what it is I see,
My mind is under lock-and-key,
There's something here that I have to be,
And go beyond, go beyond of me.

Then the dream just fell apart,
And conscious were my mind and heart,
And that's when I knew, the fire in my mind's eye,
Were the actions of that lullaby...

My Nana... (Granddad)

To the world's greatest grandfather in the world... Happy Birthday!

My Nana is someone who loves to tell stories. He makes us laugh. He makes us eat. And He always makes me want to go on. He's always wanting everyone to be happy. So here's a short poetry for you, Nana / Joker / Santa Claus and everything you have been to me...

"To Learn to be so Sweet and Kind,
And always be just two steps behind.
To be so Happy and always Smile,
And for someone, go that extra mile.
To learn to laugh, and learn to live,
You taught me how to always give..."

Thank you, Nana!
And may you Always and Forever Smile...

Rockstar Shades

And he gets up in the morning,
With a Devil's stare,
With a Mind full of hope,
though, he knows nothing's fair.

Then he goes skipping to the bathroom,
just to make his hair,
He neither asked for any help,
nor sent up any flare.

He's just a Rockstar, on his own,
No future too unknown,
The past - you gotta let it go,
And the fact is, there's nothing that we know.

Then he gets into his Limo,
and makes the crowd aware,
Not like the general audience,
who just don't care.

Although, his ROCKSTAR SHADES,
he does wear,
You have to look beyond,
to compare.

Now he's got those Rockstar Shades, on his eyes,
No need for any sacrifice,
Although every handful has a price,
And may the lords above, roll the dice...
