Fetched Afar

I hear these voices now,
But there's no sound to come.
They keep telling me,
Reminding me of what I'd become.

There was a reason for,
What I'd been before.
But everything just seems all fine now,
And everything just seems all fine.

I've caught the moving car,
That once seemed Fetched Afar.
And I've made it,
With no bruise, no scar.

I had the liberty,
And the open opportunity.
Because I stuck to the plan,
Look at me today, above all, here I stand.

Oh, and i have now,
What I didn't once upon a time.
I got what I wanted,
Became the best in my prime.

All that was left was,
That little thing I missed.
That little thing I had to pay attention to,
The one thing I should have held onto and kissed.

While chasing your "moving car",  don't miss out on the little things that matter the most...

To my fellow Jr Maintals

Here's to the Patricks to my Spongebob; Han Solos to my Luke Skywalkers; Ron Weasleys to my Harry Potters; Paul Pfeiffers to my Kevin Arnold; Josh to my Drake; And Marshall and Barney to my Ted. (P.S. I had to say Barney for political reasons)

Anyway, here...

It has been, since the group had formed,
A year.
Thus, out of joy, on my cheeks,
Is rolling down a tear.

It were the years around the new millennium,
When the three of us good friends were born.
And never since then,
Apart we have torn.

The giant teddy called childhood,
Did eventually go.
And has left us with ourselves,
To bond and to grow.

Now that it's been so many of these bachpan ke years,
I find myself bearing down, bearing down on tears...

...

Love you, guys! You know who you are.

Flying High

Happiness has its own price,
Celebration, work and spice.
Flavour being what we have to do,
And light and love being the key to the two.

The sky's not high; Lets learn how to fly,
If its been too long, with acceptance, sigh,
Always the people's heart try to steal,
Soar the skies, but learn how to kneel...

Wonder

As I sit and wonder why we die,
And what dreams really are.
The hope behind the need to fly,
I sit on that faraway star.

The anger in the tiger's eyes,
And the fire in our soul,
Could be the only opening,
Or itself be the hole.

Sight and sound our daily dose,
My eyes are both open and close,
Feel the wind as in your face it blows,
And watch time pass as fast as it goes.

High up above and down below,
The more you go, the less you know,
I wonder why we humans lie,
As I sit and wonder why we die.

Now

Now I don't know which way,
The wind is gonna blow.
Will it always stay this way,
Or will it ever slow?

Now I have this power,
And I thought I wanted it to show.
Last time on the tower,
I thought I wanted them to know.

Now I want that ray of light,
At this hour of need.
For me to light the way,
And for me to take the lead.

Now's the time I have to act,
And do what I need to do.
Gone is the time when I got to act,
But it's tomorrow's coffee I have to brew.

Life is too short to let days go bye,
And it gets to long if you start to live a lie.
Be new. Be true. And always Be You.
Live under the sky at night, live until the sky's blue.

Look up at the Sun,
Step out and take a run,
Run, and skip, and fly, until you're done...

Live to be Free.

Now He flies,
Because He wants to.
And, down He lies,
When He has to.

He's the right,
To the wrong.
He's the tune,
Of this song.

We live but to be free,
The life we wish to lead,
He's the line between what we want,
And what we need.

He's a dream,
Within us all.
May pride never goeth,
Before a fall.

We live but to be free,
The plant we try to seed,
He's the line between a choice,
And a deed.

To seize the moment,
And learn to fly.
And never,
Say goodbye.

Be an outcast,
To those who don't care.
Be a soldier,
And every problem bare.

We live but to be free,
And every opportunity heed,
He's the line between who to follow,
And whom to lead.

The One Who Knew...

There was once someone who knew,
What life and the future brings to you.
He always knew the possibilities,
But focused on his responsibilities.
The faith he had was immense,
Thus he ended wise, not dense.
Unshaken by his own skills,
He had an uncontrollable urge to climb hills.
For all he knew was to be strong,
Therefore, his journey was millions of miles long...
